I agree. It is always a good idea to re-evaluate
one's position in the bigger scheme of things. If your current Plan B is not fitting the Bill, so to speak, then maybe you could update the plan.
As a suggestion, consider counting the cost prior to implementing a revised plan. I committed to something similar a few years ago, just to insure that I had a Plan B for those lean or light times. With a be of tweaking, it worked out; however, I must caution you to establish some priorities. The will reduce the odds of double booking your schedule.
