Signing Stream and Signit Notary

Two new requests today. Tomorrow morning, 30+ minutes away, different directions, e-docs, fax-backs, 150+ pgs. $80. No thanks!!
Signing Stream was surprised at my statements about comments here. She said she can explain...they get paid sometimes after 45- 60 days from TC, sometimes not (why?) And they pay within 30 days from then. (Unaceptable, use working capital to timely pay your life-line!!)
Signit texted me three times, I gave same response for my availability and fee. Said no thanks on third.
Never heard back from either.
We have to stick together and say NO to these bottom feeders!

Operating on OPM (other people’s money) works just fine…. until they find out.

Exactly how it should be...stick together. Be the glue...

that makes them realize we need to be paid and treated fairly.

These deadbeats don’t care….they’re just looking for suckers to lend (read give) them money and finance their operation….some ‘would be’ SS startup even posted that he had no money to pay for a website so he copied his former employers, but he did learn how to cheat and steal, while ‘borrowing’ his formers employers proprietary information….really makes me want to sign right up with them.

I received my first call ever today from Signing Stream. We didnt get much past her introduction and I just stated that I'm not working for any new companies at this time.

I guess all the 50.00 notaries went back to Walmart so they had to call me.

Any good business needs a line of credit to pay bills until the cash flows comes in from services rendered. Sounds like whoever owns this business does not understand this.

Oh, they understand it perfectly, Sue ....

they deliberately don't subscribe to it. Why should they stick their neck out to pay notaries with "their" money, when they know there are a ton of dumbbell NSAs out there that they can use and abuse and force them to wait 3-4 months for their pay. Then, if for some reason their clients stiff them, they'll tell the notaries they didn't get paid ... so sorry.... no money.... declare BK and resurface as a new SS. Signing Stream is a perfect example of this. I've lost track of how many previous permutations they have gone through following this "business model" or something similar.

A SS offered me 40% of my standard fee and they are very slow pay. I refused to tell them my fee as we were too far away and they would not be able to have it approved. Stick to your principles.
