Thanks Signing Central!
Got a call today from a SS that I had never dealt with before. I wasn't in the office, so I accepted the assignment. Went back to office and checked SC, then emailed back that I was not accepting assignment due their poor reputation. The signing wasn't until Friday evening, so they should have plenty of time to find another sucker, er, notary. They emailed back and said that the notaries complaining about slow or no payment hadn't invoiced them properly. Yeah, I have heard that before. Even offered to pay upfront using PayPal. I still declined. I just see too many red flags here.

Re: Which SS was that?
Quick Loan Signing. I declined because I don't like doing business with folks that cheat others, even if I get paid upfront. I hope these people are put out of business because enough of us just say NO!

Just curious, if they were going to pay up front, why did you still decline?

I agree, Teri. What would he have to lose if they were
willing to pay him upfront?

How can we keep SC updated?
Quick Loan Signing Inc. is a corporation in good standing, but I can't find a current updated business license for this company.
Their principal, however, is listed on SOS notary database as:
Alsibai, A. 211 S Beach Blvd No 72 Anaheim CA 92804 Commission 1948723 expires 8/19/2015
Perhaps Mr. Alsibai can assist us by updating his website information and his SC listing information.
And by paying a fair fee, more people might work for his company, via pay pal.
