SIX WEEKS that was acceptable. I asked them about the "new" requirement for BGC? The answer was.......WHAT???

Why would you do something like that?

Only answer what you have been asked and not a single thing more. Why open the box.

True although I've seen someone post Nov 1 . Anyway it led me to believe that some TC's we're even aware of it. The TC I was dealing with was Ticor, and they're on THAT list.

Question for Jan....When I got my commission I

was given a link to CPS for my results but I'm not sure if there wasn't also a link to the BGC (so you could print it out). Was that your experience after being contacted about your commission? Tnx

For my first commission I was ability to print it out but I don't remember for my renewal.

Re: Oh, sorry

James I vaguely recall someone posting about that recently. (Marian, perhaps?) I believe they were told that the CA SOS only notifies people if they don't pass and if they are issued a commission, it's assumed they did pass, since it's a prerequisite. Also, I don't believe they provide anything for us to print out. Too bad, huh?! Wink

I can see why you turn them down. I got a couple of

signings in the last few days from CA escrow cos. Huge pkgs.--175 to 190 pgs. I can't do those without losing money. I haven't seen that sort of thing in a long time. Avg. # of pgs. is about 100 these days. I can also see why CA notaries say they have to get a higher fee--no kidding! ;-)
