I agree. Encourage others to link but doesn't want one
... letting people know that the company is now listed in SC to be linked? Doesn't make any sense to me. That is what the linked feature is for isn't? It's not like she was talking about a different company that was linked by mistake.
IMO, much larger things to worry about, like do I want a hamburger or a salad for lunch, than someone linking a post to the correct company.

I didn't link it - but I just don't get the problem with someone linking posts. Once you put a post on here it's public...I don't see why anyone would need a poster's permission to link a post to its respective company in SC for future reference.
