"Pyramid" Signing Service soon to call you!
just as a few of you very savvy & successful SA's have posted, the "new" startups are most likely using the "Pyramid" scheme business plan: break away from a SS that's getting slammed for non-pmt, setup a "new" SS, trying to convince SA's that "you are the good guy" from that SS. Uh-huh, time to use paypal as our defense against these fraudsters. Please post, anyone, if you've recently required paypal & still got the job. The deal w/paypal (not that I'm in their pocket!) is that the SS can always report to PP if a notary didn't do the job; did a bad job, etc. The $ is like our personal escrow for our svcs, sorta. Excellent recommendation to re-check your established regulars to see how they're doing on SC re pmt times.

But why keep 1, 2, 3 star Co's in business! Let them DIE!
Personally, I'd rather be a 5-star notary than a 1,2, or 3-star notary, and I won't work for these fraudsters. Keep them out of the ring! They need to fail! Why are notaries helping them stay in business? How many times and how many notaries are going to keep on getting burnt!
