Did you get their Wells Fargo training e-mail?
Another waste of time task....Looks like while business is slow they are giving their employees and us busy work.92 pages to print and sign as the borrowers and asking for us to return signed and sealed so they can QC your work.
We are excited to announce a new opportunity through Wells Fargo for additional loan closings. This opportunity represents large growth potential for American Title and we need our strongest notaries to help make it a success. If you are receiving this email you have been chosen as a potential signing agent for these closings. Completion of the sample fax back below will serve as the last step to setting you as active for these signings. Please find a sample packet for your specific state attached. Take a few minutes to look over the packet and reach out to American Title if you have questions on any of the documents. This client requires faxbacks on the critical documents below. Those documents marked below with ** may not be included in all signing packages but are included in the sample packet for your review. (For this introductory assignment we ask that you send in all pages containing a signature or acknowledgement this time only, and moving forward we will require the critical docs located on the checklist). 1. Agreement/Note & Addendums 2. **Notice of Right to Cancel 3. Security Instrument and any attached Riders 4. **Certificate of Trust 5. **Closing Cost Options Disclosure Please fill out these forms as both the signing agent and the borrower using fictitious borrower information (John B Smith and Nancy L Smith/Nancy Lee Smith depending on the packet you receive) and either scan and email to [e-mail address] or fax the critical documents to 866-761-2564. A QC of your documents will be performed in order to mark you as active to receive orders for this client. In the event that we find an error, we will reach out to you to provide coaching on how the document could be executed more accurately. Thank you in advance for your participation. We encourage you to fill these out and get the critical documents back to us ASAP (For this introductory assignment we ask that you send in all pages containing a signature or acknowledgement this time only, and moving forward we will require the critical docs located on the checklist). To be immediately eligible for these signings we need your fax backs no later than Tuesday, September 17th.

Interesting to me is that I, too, received that email.
However, I've never worked with American Title Signing Services.
I did register with them early this year. Just never worked with them. So, how does the "we need our strongest notaries to help make it a success ...." apply? It's kind of like those LinkedIn requests for ratings. How can I rate you if I have no experience with you?? Same thing. How would ATSS know whether I'm a strong or weak notary???

I LIKE American Title-------
they've been consistent over the years
consistent bottom scrapers no matter what
glad to hear they haven't changed
they were bad ten years ago and they still are
they're rated 3 1/2 stars...but look for yourself....they're no better than 2 stars and that's
giving them the benefit of the doubt.

You're talking about an American Title unrecognizable to me
They pay my standard fee. They pay a surcharge for office closings (HELOCs in Texas have to be closed in a lender branch, a title company, or an attorney's office; neither the TC nor the lawyer have to be involved in the loan). And they pay a surcharge for faxbacks. They do all that without whining or threatening. I'm happy to have them as a client

They stopped giving me orders after they said I'd made an error by not adding "trustee" after borrower's name on the notary acknowledgment. I politely informed them that I could not certify capacity per California law. They ignored this and said I'd still made an error and I haven't heard from them since. The two months previous to this, I had lots of calls from them. I never had an issue with them prior to this. Oh well....
