Boston National Title, Charlotte, SC

The last posting here was January 2013. Most posters there were raving how BNT picked up the slack of a non-paying SS they hired. SC's last review was December 2012.

Anything recent? It's great they paid when their SS would not. However, how is it working directly with BNT? Do they pay decent fees? Do they pay on funding? Are jobs assigned well in advance or last minute? Are does received well ahead of appointment or last minute?

TIA!! Smile

I'm not sure many work directly with BNT, Yoli

BNT is The Closers, LLC's (Pablo, formerly of Now Signings) biggest client..

Maybe they're ready to go direct now. I'll be "meeting" with them this week. Hopefully, all goes well and we can come to terms. Wink

Thanks for the well wishes, Linda!

Meanwhile, I received a PM from a VA notary who is familiar with BNT and has had a poor experience with them. She referred me to another site where others have posted similar slow pay issues (60-90 days late payment seems to be a common denominator). Only one post there for 2013 (June).

I will, of course, still talk to them. Ask my questions. See what they have to say ....... Wink

I used to work directly with them back in the day

Their office was then on the east coast of FL, and payment was made at funding.
It totally sucked when they started using SS.
It would be great to hear they are dropping the middle man, 'cause they were great to work with.

Misty: Were you named on the HUD or were they just ethical and paid you at funding?

Re: Only worked for them through The Closer, LLC.

Good luck, only did BNT through the Closer, and since Pablo broke away from NOW closings he tries to lowball everyone...$5.00 less but still the principle of the thing. I get my preferred rate, but calls are few and far between than what they used to be I feel because of it. Sad that 5 bucks makes and breaks a relationship in this business.
