Is it reliable, how much are the toner cartridges? Have you used an HP Laser and why did you choose this model?

Re: Does any one have a Dell laser prrinter, which model?

It's fine. Not lightning fast but fast enough. The only problem I have sometimes is that it eats more than one page at a time when printing. If I throw some canned air at it the problem is usually fixed. Toner is about $100 but I usually have rewards and coupons from Staples to bring the cost down. I got it because I had a coupon from Dell when I bought my laptop and I wanted a scanner with it to save deskspace.

The high capacity cartridge supposedly gives 6000 pages

Recommend the HL-Brother 6180DW, it screams for a table-top!

It's wireless with dual tray and holds 500 pages per tray. Can do several signings without re-load.

Takes maybe ten minutes to print two sets of docs cleanly. Hit print and walk away.

May have to look around to find it with both trays. I use the heavier cartridge.

The only negative I had was it gave off some ozone for a while and then stopped. Thankfully it's near a window. Don't know if others had this problem.

Work-horse rated 4.5 stars, and I would easily buy it again.

You can get it for around $370 or less if you look around. I gladly paid $450 on sale when it first came out.

Re: Does any one have a Dell laser prrinter, which model?

When my hp4050 needed repair many years ago, I went with a Dell. It was so bad, that stupid annoying "beep Beep Beep sound" that I had a HUGE meltdown and literally ripped it apart with my bare hands.

I recently was at a pharmacy and I heard the beep beep beep and I said oh you have a dell huh? And sure enough it was a paper jammed dell!!!!

Just get a used dual tray 4350 and you can thank me later.

Julie, I have two of them. They both pooped out yesterday. One needs a maintenance kit, the other, I have no idea what it needs. I have a backup at home, carting it into the office today.
