From another freelancer's blog
Although we are NSAs, we're also freelancer/entrepreneurs. Here is a blog post that addresses some of the non-pay or late pay issues posted on this forum. Some insights are very valuable. Check it out.
By the way, this writer is a voice-over professional--something you don't hear about too often.

Try this
Let me retrace my steps:
http://www.nethervoice.com/2013/09/18/when-a-client-owes-you/# was the original post. (OP)
When I finished with that one, I took a look about as I thought this writing style was easy, efficient, informative, interesting and probably worth looking further. So I did, and then posted that link, http://www.nethervoice.com/2012/01/05/why-clients-dont-care/ .
When I finished reading that one, I posted it as it really does fall under what we do and how, etc. – just another piece of info that does pertain, plus all the above reasons. I continued to poke around his site, on the right hand side I saw search the blog (you can type in and search for what might be written about, ie, money) or
below it is a listing of popular posts. Why do you suppose they are popular? Read the titles and see if you can find something there.
At the end of the blog, underneath is
Related Posts: I read these, and if something there catches your eye, or click and continue until you find what you want. This is called searching and perserverance. Make sure you read “Why some will never make it” as a cautionary tale.
Below that is Related Posts. #1 is Give me my money #2 is When a Client Owes You
Further down: Categories Under: money matters
Also, in the OP, at the bottom of the article was a clickable link to “next week” which brought up “Give Me My Money!” After you read that, you will see more Related Posts, all about money.
Now, I have retraced my searching steps, handing this to you on a platter. You have criticized me for your lack of curiosity. Not nice, not really. In the OP there was a statement colleagues have a few things is common, personality wise: they tend to take things personally. Sound familiar? I did my best the first time using only the subject line - it really is up to others to take the initiative. Few here are not somewhat computer savvy.
