Land & Law Group

It's been over 60 days and I haven't received payment, I have emailed and called today, first he asked if I sent the W9 and then he says a check was cut but he said he had to speak to his manager about cutting another one, I told him I have heard that line of BS too many times before and if I did not hear back from him by 10 am the next day I would turn this over to collections. We will see what they say.

I will NEVER do another closing for them. I would advise no one else to either. Maybe if we stop doing work for these types of companies they will go out of business

Doing a "search" here - just in 2013 alone - may have saved you from this stress. Search "Land and Law." Others here have similar experience. Sorry. Frown

Keep bugging them. Call, email, fax ... every day. Make a pest of yourself. Hope you get paid soon!

Contact Owner Of Land-Law Group

The problem with this company is that the owner is located in South Carolina, but he has outsourced everything to India and those dudes don't have a clue what is going on. I did a double signing for Land-Law Group at my local bank on July 11, 2013, and I have not gotten my full fee for the signings as of yet. I have called, faxed W-9's and invoices per their request, and have still not gotten paid. Finally I called the title company and got the cell phone number and e mail address for the owner of the company. He is trying to resolve the issue. I received part of my signing fee for one of the closings, and hopefully the second half is on it's way to me now and I should receive it in a few days.

The owner of Land-Law Group is Jack Muncy and his telephone number in Landrum, SC is 803-450-0001. His e mail address is [e-mail address]

I hope this information helps anyone who is owed money by this company. He is a very nice man and I trust that he will make it right. The problem is that he outsourced everything to India which very well may have ruined his company because now with the bad pay history, no decent notaries are going to want to sign for him.

Good luck.

Not my experience. Twice accepted jobs for them & haven't received confirmations yet.

You are complaining about not being paid after 60 days. I am still waiting for confirmations, hoping the borrowers rate locks don't expire.

Contact Abhi, "Service Delivery Manager", (803) 335-0345, abhi@land-law group.com. She will get you paid. IF she still works there! She came through for me in August. I won't accept anymore assignments from this company.
