Somehow I have been added to their cattle call list. They have been sending me email for signings that pay $65 for edocs. Does anyone know who they are working with? Their Title Companies? I would love to know what the HUD says as far as what they are collecting from the Title Company. Any notary who is doing this for $65 is either really desperate, has no experience and no business sense. I called them and told them that if I park in the city of Chicago, if I am lucky to find a meter it is at least $10. That to park in a parking garage a min of $24. She said that the notaries in Chicago take public transportation to cut down on their cost. If I took the train it would still cost me about $8 round trip and 3-4 hours of my time. If anyone knows what title company they work with please share this information. I did a search and see this company has been paying this low fee for years. So it is not just now due to the slow down. Thanks!

Kudos to you for reaching out to them and speaking your mind about your transportation costs. No way I would do edocs for $65 either, and I don't have the kind of transportation issues you face.

I was told by managment of Mortgagedocs.com that it did NOT cost a Notary anything to print docs.
They are a low pay SS that couldn't care less about their Notaries.
