My question is Simple...
Why on earth do these title companies even do business with these fly by night signing service places??? They can get it done a hell of a lot cheaper by paying us a standard 150.00 and higher is further. I don't get it. Maybe I will put that in my new marketing letter. Saving money talks.

It's all about the money, honey
Keep in mind, that TCs would have to hire someone who will handle finding an NSA, be repsonsible for the NSA's work, give them ample space, they'll need additional equipment...it's actually easier and cheaper to outsource that position.

Because...
It saves them time. They make 1 call and the SS does the rest. They avoid calling around to find a notary that is available and negotiating a fee. This is more important to offices that deal with closings in many locations.
More localized title & escrow officers like to have their go to notaries because they already know their fees, coverage areas etc. Find these types of clients and your business will become much more enjoyable and profitable. Try contacting Realtors in your area and asking who their favorites are. This is where you will find purchase business.

Re: Because...
Yes you are right. I guess I was wondering since all I hear on every forum I go to is how bad most of them are etc...& why nsa still take business from them. I already have a few local escrow companies that use me solely for all of san Diego which I'm very grateful for. Had to sell myself but got them. I've worked with 1 signing service for a SHORT while and that was enough. Not worth it to me. My GNW serves me well. THANKS Don, for the input.

Re: Because...
When I frst became a Notary that is what I was doing I was working directly with the escrow companes in my area, I had a lot of work, but then I was gettng busier and busier and when they would call em I wouldn't be available at times so they stopped calling me. The minute you say no they just cross you off. They want you to be at there beck and call, that is how it is in my area, now I work for Title companies and SoS and I do really good and they treat me good.
