What's your experience with them? Nothing in SC. Search has inquiry and 2 positive comments in 2010.

Thanks!

I have done some signings with them. They are okay WHEN you are first starting out.
--- They pay but it's about 60 days.
--- They pay about $43-$60 depending on how desperate they need someone. They allocate the $3 for you to mail back the pages through postal service.
--- There's fax back.
--- The document pages vary from 6 pages to 20 per package.
--- They require call in ALL THE TIME, like Global Notary---at the signing, after the signing. If you don't call them, they'll repeatedly call you.
--- The customers are those signing away their future payments to lawsuit winnings in order to get a small lump sum today... sooo, these individuals are sometimes certain segments of the population.
--- Some of Nation Direct's schedulers are decent but others are dumb. Here's how my last (I mean LAST because this scheduler probably took me off the list since I haven't heard from them for awhile):

TELEPHONE CONVERSATION
Scheduler: Will you do the signing in Town A [next town over] for $43?

Me: What is the exact address?

Scheduler: It's not far. It's the town that's right next to you.

Me: Well, that town is HUGE. I would need an address to make that decision.

(She gives me the address and I map it out.)

Me: I'm sorry but I can't do it for $43. It's 14 miles from here.

Scheduler: So, you want more money? It's just a few pages. You've done signings for us before for $43. In fact, I have on record that you drove 30 miles for $43.

Me: Well, first of all,
--- If I drove 14 miles round-trip, that's 28 miles and about 45 minutes.
--- Then, it takes about 15 minutes for the signing simply because I need to check IDs.
--- Then I need to spend about 10 minutes faxing it to you guys and wait around for approval.
--- Then, I have to put the docs into MY envelope, drive it to the post office, wait in line, pay for shipping, and drive back.
--- By the time I am done with all of my expenses (gas, various taxes, toner, paper, equipment, electricity, insurances, etc.), I am making less than minimum wage.

As for other times when I have done the signing for $43, it's because they are about 3 miles from me and it was convenient.

As for that $43 for 30 miles? Well, you should look at your records more carefully before you say something. There were 3 packages that were signed at the same time making the total trip $129.

Scheduler: Well, I am going to make a note that you want to get paid more, so we might not call you anymore.

Me: Okay, whatever you need to do.
