Placer Title - 3 sets of docs

2 to be signed and 1 for the borrower....Do you get many requests for these?

I haven't worked with Placer Title, but this looks stinky. Not only do you have to print 3 sets of documents, but you have to spending time watching borrower(s) sign 2 sets of docs.

I have to agree....this doesn't make sense....If A borrower signes two Notes, two mortgages etc....are they not actually comitting to two loans. Why would they sign a second set of docs??? I would never see a reason for a third set of docs, especially not two of them being signed.....Are we missing something?

No, but just charge accordingly.

Never heard of that, and should only be one set of signed originals floating around. I would question it, but bottom line is, if they want that, charge them another 50% of your time. Like doing 2 closings in same location.
