Printer advice

I'm in the market for a new printer. Any suggestions on model that's good and efficient but doesn't cost a fortune?

Thanks!!!

Have you tried doing a "search" on here? There have been a multitude of postings about printers. For the most part, you'll find this forum divided between Brother and HP. I'm sure they both produce a range of printers to fit anyone's preference. Personally, I'm a Brother partisan.

Search "printers". Lots of discussions, since this is an

important aspect of our business. I'm a Brothers fan, also. New laser printers available from under $100, and I use remanufactured toner carts so they're pretty low cost in operating expense.
Do some research to find out which ones you can purchase an extra tray for, if you intend to go the route of printing on legal size & letter size. Otherwise, there's software available called "page separator" available right here on NR I think.

HP LaserJet 100 MFP M175 is an inexpensive color laser printer. A color laser permits you to print your own biz cards and stationery, a major savings in the long run.

I run nothing but HP printers.

I have both a Brother HL 5370DW and HP 2420 and Hp 2015. They are all fast, 2 drawer, the Brother a bit noisier and the HP's are about the same in speed but the HP's are more quiet. Take your pick! I'm getting ready to retire my 2420 it's served me well ( since I started in this buz 2000 and will probably buy another Brother. Price wise you get more for your money with Brother, I haven't had it long enough to know how durable it is over the HP. But the HP's are work horses.
Geez maybe I've talked my self into another HP just now :>}

And, don't forget maintenance cost. Reman Brother toner carts and drums are usually more cost effective than HP ... at least in my experience.

For me, Brother. I have two Brother machines,laser and color ink jet. The laser is an HL 5370dw dual tray. I have had no maintenance and only occasional jam. I get my drums and toner through Amazon.toner is usually $85.00 for the high yield and drums are$145. Drums last me approx. 4 months and toner a month. Both machines are wireless. The laser was under $300. Two years ago.
