SS says it's non of my business.

BO not expecting to put in any money for the closing, HUD1 says $100,000 due from BO. I email SS and she reply's as above. I think printing and driving are a big part of my business and I don't want to do it if the BO is going to refuse to sign. BO finally says yes but she's going to wire it not put it in at closing. OK, no problem, but I still won't print and drive if there is a big difference in the expectation of how much funds are due. It is my business that's why I always ask at confirmation what they are expecting in terms of money due. Agree?

Are there specific instructions to collect the funds, or are wiring instructions included? My suggestion would be the contact the TC or settlement co. shown on your paperwork as the SS may not know. Verify & note who you spoke with and when.

I'd just get a guarantee that you'll be paid 100% no matter the outcome and then leave it at that. You're right...it's really not your business. If you ask and they tell you not to worry about it... leave it alone...but get a guarantee of payment and do your job.
