In reading the fine print, looks like it's free with $100 purchase of other items for which no coupons were used? If you need to stock up, guess that's not a bad way to do it.

I printed out the coupon and could not find anywhere that it required any other purchases. I redeemed the last coupon for a case for $9.99 yesterday. I'll go back and get the same case of paper for free.

I didn't see the $100 purchase either, if it is required one way around it is to buy a Visa gift card for $100' it has a $6 service charge so you'd be getting a case for $6.

Janet/Ca shared one a few days ago for $9.99. I went to

their store, as required, and with the coupon, of course. It cost only $21.99 w/o tax, for the case. They gave me a receipt that had a code number that you use after you log onto their site and input the redemption code (very easy) and they will mail me a $12.00 gift card.

This one probably work the same way; with no other purchase necessary.

Re: Looks like it's in store only.

Those of us who don't have a store locally really get shafted on some of the really good sales.

Well that's a bummer. Office Depot will price match and take Staples coupons, doubt that it would work on this though as its a Staples product. I know I have used the $20 off $100 purchase. Not sure about Office Max. Wonder what ever happened to the merger?

Re: "Wonder what ever happened to the merger?"

What merger? Where did you hear that? I have worked as a merchandiser inside both stores, I watch MOST business news reports and I read trade journals. I've NEVER even heard any hint of a merger nor even an acquisition. I doubt the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) would even allow such an anti-competitive event to occur, anyway. JMHO

Merger on track

There merger of Office Depot and Max is still on track to be completed by the end of the year. I'm not sure if this will hurt or help those of you who don't have a Staples nearby.
