These training classes from Title Source are ridiculous.....

Anyone who does not know these basic things to begin with has no business closing loans. What a time waster having to take these "training courses".

Bingo!

Hopefully, TS is weeding out those who think they can from those who can.

Here is my theory on this. JMHO

A person has 6 chances to take the training and test to obtain a 100% passing score. This method allows the less and/or no experience NSA to show and prove to TSI that they can pass a test enough to be trusted to perform closing for the low rates being requested.

The truth is that real life does not always play out like training and/or a test.

This actually reminds me of when I previously wrote scripts and trained others for a living. When a customer would ask a question of a representative or agent, he/she was never able to deviate from the script nor the process because of the lack of knowledge.

Am sure over time the knowledge and expertise will come as it does in most cases.

Re: Here is my theory on this. JMHO

If the test taker is similar to me, then it is necessary to take the test more than one time. When I take online tests, due to a vision processing issue I miss key words in the questions and answers. It means that many times I need to take a test at least twice to catch the key word I missed. A processing issue is when the eye sees and the brain does not see the material at the same time. This results in a timing difference in understanding the material - hence the issue of missing key words.

These trainings are designed to ensure that our signing agents have a solid understanding of what needs to happen at each and every closing.

Even bigger waste of time because I can't submit completed!

I have tried every browser and none work. So, I have gone through this training at least four times and can't submit my test answers. Firefox, Safari, Explorer etc...

I had the same problem. You can call the phone number provided on the notary training email, and TS will administer the test on the phone, and mark your training complete.

Had that happen once, mmk. Emailed them through the website and they advised it had submission had taken. If you haven't already, may I suggest you try emailing them rather than wasting your time over and over. Wink

If you are using Windows Explorer. Open up your internet tools. Set your cookies to maximum and turn off pop-up blocker. Go back and reload the link from your email. When you are finished go back and reset the cookies and turn on pop-up blocker.

I think once you pass it, name can go on app list

When it is ready to roll out in your area. You know the basics because you passed all training, if you don't do it they remove you from data base.
