This is getting ridiculous...

Just got the first e-mail from a company, JMT, which is requiring XYZ BCG. I don't work for them much because they don't like my fees, so no great loss. However, I am wondering what other companies you all have heard from asking us to be gouged by you know who, in order to work for them.
Previously, I was wondering why I was not hearing from LSI as much lately, and now I know. My fees are too high, but lowering to $50.00? WTF?

Not really sure what is going on with LSI. Sometimes I get work directly from them, then I get some from WFG/Vantage Point and LSI is the lender. Confusing but the fees are what they paid me before. I have not been asked to take $50 - always $100 or more.

I see them most commonly used for appraisal service for a lot of banks.

Let the $50 SA's take all they can get from LSI. That leaves you with all the assignments from the companies that know and value your worth and pay a fee that will make you a profit. I would kick LSI to the curb!

Re: LSI IS NOT A "LENDER"....

I find that some SS that met my fees now email broadcast or spam type emails asking for a notary with a $XX lower fee to the first one to respond. Then the SS will give the notary the confirmation. I do not respond. If they get enough of the low ball notares with errors then ???
