Title Source and Chase docs
I know I've read posts here where in-house signings for Chase are sometimes stressful as docs can be very late and bank ends up printing. What I don't recall is if that's with Title Source or FASS or ServiceLink or maybe it just doesn't matter -- Chase is Chase.
My question is what is your experience with a Title Source signing for Chase at the borrower's home as it relates to docs? Did you receive them timely?
I've accepted a Chase signing for Title Source for next Wednesday. Asked during confirmation call and borrowers are not flexible. Emailed TSI asking when I may expect docs and advised borrowers are not flexible and the reasons for that. TSI closing coordinator responded, "We will get docs to you when we received the docs from Chase." Well, I figured that much. Didn't bother thanking him for his response. Guess I was hoping for a "we'll notify lender and push for an asap release." So much for keeping them in the loop .......
TIA!!

Yoli, don't responses like that just drive you up a wall. Sounds like they didn't even want to talk to you because you are "just a notary".

For an in-home signing, the latest I have ever received Chase documents from Title Source is 2 hours prior to signing. If I don't have the docs 2 hours prior to the signing, I call them and they usually appear shortly. My last few Chase from TS have been received the day before the signing.

Good info, Judy. Thanks!
Hopefully, this one falls into the latter category.
You're right, James. That's exactly why I didn't bother responding to their curt reply. I'm not a patient person and refuse to lose that last nerve on ineptitude.

Re: Good info, Judy. Thanks!
I've had good experiences with TS. Received docs at 8:45 PM, Friday, for today's 6:00 PM signinjg. Usually, for a Saturday signing, I'll get docs Friday afternoon or night, latest by Saturday morning for an evening signing. Some other title companies make me fret if I don't have docs by Friday afternoon, for they'll probably not be working or reachable on Saturday. Not so with TS, for it seems they stick with the task until it is done and confirmed with me. TS calls to confirm that I'm all set and ready for the signing.

Don't ever remember having any late docs from Title Source for Chase or Quicken closings and I have done many. They also handle Nationstar closings and I have had late docs on a few of those.

Chase docs with Title Source are usually never late. I usually receive the night before closing.

Most Chase deals you will get the docs days, or night before the signing. Yes some will come 2 hours prior those are ones that had an issue or two and they worked it. Biggest problem (not Title Source) the LO may or may not talk with borrowers prior to arrival.

I recall that my first Chase docs were very late, however, I was not alarmed as I had always heard they are late with Chase docs and also a very nice lady from Title Source kept in contact with me as it was getting late in the evening.
I don't recall any other Chase docs being late after my first experience.

Re: Like other postings above, usually rcv docs day ahead.
Today (Saturday afternoon) I received the TS docs for a Chase signing that will be on Wednesday morning! I even received an early-afternoon call from TS to confirm that I'd received my docs abd was all set for a Saturday evening signing. They're good!
