VERIZON CELL
Just found out that there is a major outage in the Toms River - Brick area for Verizon Cell phones. There is NO estimate of when service will be restored.

Marketing time. Grab some business cards and a fee list, make neighborhood stops. Shake hands, rub elbows, etc.

Had 9am tomorrow with TS
Just find out that it had been cancelled and reassigned to someone else and missed two more appointments. They say service could be down for 24-48 hours.. Stick a fork in me can't even forward the number to land line.

Re: Can they forward your calls manually for you
Yes my wife found out we could forward calls to my land line, had a neighbor with a extra phone help me out since it has been many years since I have had a land line phone. All bases covered for now. TS said they did try and call me but could not reach me, and we know what that means. NEXT..

Re: Can they forward your calls manually for you
Make sure they don't charge your for the forwarded calls. The charge can add up very quickly. I had to do that once and had them give me a credit for the forwarded calls from my cell phone. What did we ever do with out techonology? It seems to be in the air this week across the boards - several other industries I know are having issues with systems this week also, one of which is in the health care field (very scary!).

I was advised there was a major/main tower out. It's causing issues from Cape May County to Salem County to Mercer County with all of those in between. Even other service providers using their towers via roaming are having issues as well as the FIOS. Atleast we have electric thou. Please nomore super storms!
