While things are slow do you think we have time

to open our own reservation? We would make our money by letting people claim primary residence there and take advantage of the perks. For one perk - no fed, state or local taxes. For another, we will recognize all notary licenses (expired or not?, with or without a BGC?). It's our business so everyone has a say in how much we should charge to establish residency and what other perks we should offer. Get in on the ground floor by responding with your ideas today before prices go up and residency becomes too pricey. You will be emailed your founding membership, just pay shipping and handling.

That might be a really cool idea for retirement communities.

A place exempt from all taxes, access to casinos, etc. I'm in! Where do I sign? ;-) LOL

Only if you're willing to let the "white man" to take your

lands, kill a bunch of folks, & other crappy stuff--then make you a terrific deal for some (often inferior) real estate with the treaty that is NOT notarized!!

Yep, and we can support ourselves doing each others' purchases and refinances... at least in the beginning. After that? Well, maybe we should locate ourselves somewhere with lots of land and conducive to growing some kind of cash crop... Or will this place be limited to those already collecting pensions and social security? Wink

That gives me an idea.

Perhaps I could get some government funding for a non-profit wild-life preserve in my back yard. I have 1/3 acre undeveloped land filled with native indigenous, pesticide-free, organic Geomyidaes ("pocket-gophers"). They are sweet, shy creatures and rarely seen. It is possible that they could be endangered, since many people don't understand how they are just trying to make a home, and they are being trapped and poisoned into extinction in many other back yards. Their lifestyle habits are not thoroughly understood, and perhaps I could get a scientific grant to study them.

With the government's help, I could create a habitat with paths and native plants so that visitors could walk through the relaxing landscape that takes you back in time, before humans were here, and everyone can learn about the our friendly Geomyidae, which we humans must learn to co-exist with.

I will create an acrylic display case, like a giant "ant-farm" so that school children could watch the pocket-gophers in their tunnels. I will name each individual Geomyidae and have them sponsored by local schools. To accommodate large crowds, I can sell advanced tickets and have shuttle parking. Of course, I will have a souvenir shop all about Geomyidaes, with coloring books, hats, mugs, key-chains, magnets, and penny-squishers.

Re: I was thinking all virtual, no real place

just an address for your primary residence to avoid taxes. We could also issue notary licenses that said right on them "good anywhere in the world" and avoid the various state clutter. Any suit would have to be brought in the jurisdiction issuing the license and since we have no court system - we win. I have to say NR is not a very inventive bunch. Here I am thinking I am going to be El Supremo in our new virtual space, but with no fellow tax evaders???
