all charges that will be paid to any party must be listed on the HUD Sheet. Can someone tell me why we are not listed as notaries? At one time, we were listed either by name or title, I 'm talking way back in the day here.... any thoughts?

Simple, short answer ...
We are not paid directly by the borrower.
We are a sub-sub.... contractor service that is included in someone else's fee that is listed on the HUD-1. Notaries public are rarely paid directly and separately by the borrower.
In a law firm example, fees for notarization are included as part of the "settlement fee," like photocopying, postage, paper, closing binder (paper and/or CD sets), attorney representation and secretarial services.
