I'll bring up Cuomo because he caused a lot of death to his state for his seniors and releasing positives back into nursing homes, and let's not forget on how he let all those New Yorkers board planes and head to FL to Palm Beach and Broward counties just before lock down to cause those counties to take the brunt of COVID and really spread it here in the south area of the state.
Desantis is a great Gov. He took care of the seniors first and foremost. Florida is not only back in business -- it's been in business for the better part of the past year. Despite far fewer rules and restrictions, Florida lands nearly in the middle of all states on a variety of coronavirus metrics. The state has had about 3% more Covid-19 cases per capita than the US overall, but about 8% fewer deaths per capita. More than 32,000 Floridians have died of Covid-19 (Mid March stats), and the state's per capita death rate ranks 24th in the nation.
Florida is booming. It would not be booming if it was shut down, Los Angeles isn't booming. New York City's not booming. People are back to work, tourists are back, the housing market is off the charts. We have a Gov. who wasn't scared to open it up and allow people to work.
See what happens...he may not align with Trump, but either way, you can bet he will be on the ticket!.
