I don't think he will be. The Dems don't have the majority, and the 8 that voted with them to kick McCarthy out are, I believe, not about to vote for a Democrat to be Speaker.
But for 100% of the Democrats voting to put us back at square one, after McCarthy stuck his neck out to work with them, we wouldn't be where we are today. Only 8 Republicans voted to kick him out of office, the rest of the votes were all Democrats. |
