"Yeah, and runs businesses grossing more than $10 billion dollars a year and hires more than 20,000 employees."
We'll know whether that's true if he ever decides to release his tax returns. Fortune also published an article after his FEC filing last year that suggested his net worth was nowhere near $10 billion. Warren Buffet just said he was also under audit, but would be more than happy to show his returns if Trump would do the same. Warren Buffet is worth a lot more money than Donald Trump can ever hope for; if he has no problem with releasing his tax returns, why should Trump?
Trump is the first candidate since 1976 who has refused to release his tax returns. He claims there's nothing to be learned from them, but there's a lot - for starters, where his income comes from, how much he donates to charity, how much he pays in taxes, and how much he is actually worth.
