I'm not complaining that he canceled - he should never have scheduled it in the first place. What I'm saying is that he's using the weather as an excuse so he doesn't look bad again like he did in Tulsa. The weather is perfect in Portsmouth, there was no other reason to cancel than lack of interest.
I don't think he's going to be able to pull off another big rally - a portion of his base doesn't care about the pandemic, but there are a lot of people who do and don't want to take the risk. It probably doesn't help that you have to sign a waiver absolving the Campaign of any responsibility if you get infected. |
