Trump's press conference the other day was a prime example of his declining cognitive skills. He compared the Covid pandemic to the Spanish Flu (which he insists started in 1917, but which the rest of the world knows happened from 1918-1919), saying there may have been 100 million dead (there weren't), and then went on to say that it caused the end of World War II because all of the soldiers were sick. Giving him the benefit of the doubt that he somehow confused World Wars and actually meant World War I, he's still wrong - the war ended in 1918 in a military victory, not because the soldiers were all sick. Nothing he said had anything to do with reality, but yeah, let's talk about Joe Biden. Let's keep repeating the lies that the GOP is selling about Biden's "dementia", and how his wife has to lead him around by the hand. It's the same GOP playbook from 2016, only slightly more vicious. How many times do they think they can run that scam? |
