You are correct and probably will never be proven.
The fact my Aunt and cousin had symptoms Nov. also doesn't mean it wasn't around then in the USA, it just means it wasn't on anyone's radar thus diagnosed as "unknown respiratory illness". Think of it as a drunk driver. Eventually, you stop one, it doesn't mean that was the first one ever, it just means it was the first one caught. Maybe China sent infected individuals on purpose here...we will never know.
We cannot conclude when it came here when we cannot conclude with 100% accuracy how and where it came from...a lab or from a bat or the exact date. |
