Several weeks ago, I posted info about a pregnant mom who was ticked in an HOV lane here in TX and was going to fight the ticket because the law says a fetus is a person - so she had another person in the car with her.
Her ticket was finally dismissed by the DA, who dismissed it after reviewing "the facts and the law" - the case never made it before a judge.
Shortly after having the ticket dismissed, she got another one - same highway, same HOV lane, same spot, even the same cop. First words out of the cop's mouth: "You again?" She's headed back to court again to fight this one as well.
She finally gave birth a few days later, so there shouldn;t be a third ticket... |
