She was nine months pregnant and looked it. I don;t think the police would have needed a pregnancy test to figure that out. And she didn'lt waste any time in court - it never got that far. The DA dismissed the ticket based on a "review of the facts and the law".
The ticket is over $200, so it's not trivial. With any luck, our dysfunctional legislature will sort this question out when they meet in January. |
