Since when is it not a problem for our intelligence community to arbitrarily decide what they will or will not inform the President of regarding such national security things?
Too often this administration seems to jump at putting out whatever deflecting cover story the most junior staffer can come up with as soon as they even notice whatever dumpster fire issue is hitting the news. They never seem to give a single thought to the issues and legitimate questions that their half baked 'cover-Biden's-butt' story they spoon feed their more than willing media partners.
There were plenty of opportunities to safely down the thing over land prior to it being downed over the ocean -- not sure, but last I checked, water has a very damaging effect on electronics and also hampers, if not totally destroys any ability to recover any useful intel.
There is a BIG difference between spy satellites being used in space (by any country) and an intrusion of our air space as this spy craft did. |
