Many times I asked on the "discuss Work" about the insurance in CA and how it works with wildfires and if they even issue a policy during firestorms and fire season. I think that is another reason many people are leaving the state, it's just not realistic for people making minimum wage or retired on a fixed income to live there anymore, and really rolling the dice not having insurance if your house is paid for. Everything they worked for will be gone then owning a vacant lot where you once lived, not capable of rebuilding there. I cannot even imagine paying a $10K- $20K year insurance policy. Maybe the Nevada underground bunkers are the way to go.lol |
