It's hard to call it a debate when each candidate has a limited time to speak. They had 60 seconds to answer and at one point they started interrupting each other and cutting onto the other candidate's already meager time. It's difficult to answer biting questions in that little time, so they resorted to canned responses.

It was a complete waste of time, and they're doing it again tonight. It's ridiculous, and I don't know why the DNC started the "debates" so early in the cycle. They should have waited until the field started winnowing down; no one's going to learn anything about the candidates this way.
