The $80,000 in debt is usually a profession that can cover it, so why does the taxpayer have to? 90% of the time it's part of a new hire package as well and they will pay it for you depending on your employer and occupation.
Student debt is a low-interest loan, and I agree, we shouldn't have to pay it off as taxpayers. Many chose not to go to college just because of that debt, and not fair now they could have, if it was free.
Free medical, free college, then get a one-way plane ticket to Europe. If Bernie (opps) Biden gets in, probably will be a push to pay it off for them...he's pulling his strings right now turning Biden very left of cente and Socialistic in a way.
