If he denies the science and people die because of that, then yes, it is his fault.

The role of a President is to lead the country through a crisis, and he has failed miserably at that. Whistling past the graveyard is not an appropriate solution, but Trump has now thrown in the towel and is pretending that COVID-19 is not a problem anymore. The government doesn't even talk about it anymore. 120,000 Americans dead, and his magical thinking is that the virus is fading away.

Meanwhile, states like mine and yours are seeing record spikes in the number of cases and hospitalizations, and a lot of that can be tied to people ignoring what public health officials are saying they should do. They're doing that because the President - who should know better - is playing down the threat and is too vain to wear a mask in public And his death cult mimics his behavior - no masks, no social distancing, it's all just a hoax.

So who would you say is at fault?
