Will tragic events finally quit on "Rust" film sight?
Posted by  Mike Goodey of CA on 11/8/21 4:13pm Msg #33683
Now, in addition to the killing of one person and shooting of another on the movie set of "Rust," another has been bitten by a venomous spider, possibly losing his arm.
What else can go wrong at this so called "well-oiled production!"
The sheriff has not called the original tragedy an accident yet because of conflicting stories of who handled the gun before giving it to Alec Baldwin in a shooting scene.
The armorer, the one who checks firearms for safety, thought it had been checked.
Originally, the assistant director said he gave the firearm to Baldwin, but thru his attorney, now says Baldwin gave it back to him before it was given to Baldwin.
There were live rounds around the set as the guns were used for target practice. Why was there live ammo on the movie set????? The armorer is responsible for controlling that!!
Sounds to me like a well oiled production!
