We are expected to be trustworthy and above board. I had a signing this last week that was quite a drive for me so I set my fee accordingly and the SS agreed to it. In the process of confirming with the signer, he changed the signing location to a much closer address. This definitely necessitated a reduction in my fee which I quickly shared with the SS. They appreciated my honesty and paid me the whole fee anyway. It pays to be honest.
