I've been doing this for 12 years. I've noticed that it is "slower" between Halloween and tax time. It's one holiday after another, and people are spending their money and focus on other things. I was surprised that it did not slow down this holiday season. But with taxes, people are distracted. Many people on my FB page are talking about working on taxes. Also, maybe some people are waiting to refinance until after taxes, because taxes are required to qualify, and they might need to show their 2012 taxes.
Those are my thoughts. I have slowed down too. The last three nights in a row, I have been home at night. That has not happened in a couple of years. |
