As a California notary, I wouldn’t presume to answer a question for a transaction conducted in Georgia, rather ask an additional question: Isn’t Georgia and attorney state?
For every closing I’ve conducted for the State of Georgia, an attorney was required to be present. In my case, the attorney was present on the telephone.
