Entering a date on your notary certificate other than when the signer(s) appeared before you is a fraudulent act, pure and simple. You could lose your commission and even face criminal charges.
I believe in CA it is illegal to even ask a notary to perform an improper notarial act. Suggest you remind the agency of that. |
