going rate in my area isn't anything close to that. I'm aware that CA notaries do get higher fees than we can get on the East Coast.
Yes, I could set those fees, but I wouldn't get any work. It's as simple as that. I don't undervalue my services, but the market with only bear a certain price.
There's no price-fixing in this industry. It's capitalism, there's competition, and that drives prices--in this industry or any other.
Do you refuse to shop at Walmart because the prices are too low? LOL
