 Good points, Cari

We NSAs need to remember that we're extending credit to those people calling us to help service clients. I always send a confirmation of the confirmation email that if I get no response to the negative, which I've only gotten one in the 12 years I've been doing this, is considered agreement by the other party. That is MY contract stating my requirements to handle the job, how I'll handle the job, and my requirements for payment.

Like Judge Judy says, if it's not written, it's not a contract. You don't have to accept THEIR terms if they don't work for you. And if that job goes away, you'll have a better chance to actually work for a company that will respect you as a business person.
