. . . and just because someone is offered $90.00 for a full closing from a major title company for two sets of docs and of course a travel fee as you claim does not mean that they took it for that. It only means you were offered $90.00 for said closing and you decided to turn it down instead of negotiating. I get sick and tired of notaries coming here on this board and bashing their fellow notaries for accepting a fee that is beneath your standards. We are all out here just working trying to make an honest living and pay our bills. I don't think there is anything stupid about that.
