Nobody can have you involved in anyone's signing because of privacy laws. You cannot review, look at, touch or be present at a closing you have no involvement in. It's a sink or swim profession, no mentors, not teachers and you learn by yourself online usually. I read you did that, but we all started this way. Some good You Tube Signing videos with made up stuff to watch. You have to familiarize yourself with a loan package. If you were in Mtg. this should be a cake walk, right? You know the rules here and laws... same applies everywhere in this job from lending, to title to closing.
If your friend got caught doing this and the customer spoke up, she would lose that account and be held responsible if something happened to that customer's information. We are guardian's in essence from birth, SS, job history, CC, two ID's and all their loan information...it's people's lives here with a huge responsibility....This is what we get paid for, not just to point, and stamp a signature.
