 Printer - replace or repair?
Posted by PMB_WashSt on 7/8/18 8:47pm

I use a Brother HLL6200DWT but lately there is a faded area on the left side of each document. I have tried new toner and new drum but nothing changes. The "replace laser" and "replace fuser" notification came on over six months ago but everything has always worked fine until recently. The settings page say the fuser unit and the laser are at 0/100%. The total print count is at 292,436.
I have used this printer for about two years and for 1700 signings.
Does this printer have a shelf life of ~300K pages or do I have a lemon?
