If a non borrowing spouse, no big deal as mortgage and title docs...if it was borrowing spouse, I would really try and get her inside if she can walk. It needs to be done together, and you need a table. Sometimes you can only be too nice, but have to control the closing. If she can walk, she needs to get inside. If it's a medical thing, then sometimes we have to be more accommodating and bend a little.
I really cannot see myself asking for more money for a split signing however, but I would make in known to the extent I am going to accommodate and get it done IF medical. If mad, nope, she has to come in and sit at opposite ends of table.
