I've never had a higher charge for a 'rush' job, but, more frequently, if you start asking questions...pkg. size, are docs ready and generally sound 'not sure if I really want this one' (for a good reason--the last minute ones are usually the most screwed up)--THEY sweeten the pot by offering usually a higher amount than you would have asked for. It's a silly game.
Also, I imagine that they have a hard time finding a notary for these Debt deals as many of us simply won't do them. Do a search and you'll see lots of posts on this topic. They are sticky wickets. |
