The short certificates for Vermont are nearly identical to the version of RULONA recommended by the Uniform Law Commission. The one change is that "Signature of notarial officer" is changed to "Signature of notary public" because notaries are the only ones in our state that can perform notarial acts; even judges have to get notary commissions. Also, the power to certify copies was eliminated in Vermont so that certificate from RULONA was eliminated. Notice they didn't provide a certificate for an oath that isn't a verification on oath or affirmation.

The certificates can be found at

Search in your browser window for "§ 5368. Short-form certificates"
